Alexis’s POV

I woke up alone in bed, I check the time on my bedside clock and it said 11:am. Which meant I had to get up before my mom comes looking for me, with all the guests around she probably wouldn't notice I wasn't there but still.

Turning over, I see Mason sitting on the corner chair facing my bed.

I wasn't alone after all.

Mason sat in the chair in the corner of my room, his elbow propped on the armrest, watching me.

The events of last night come crashing down on me, his revelations. He told me he loved me and wanted us to be together, all that right now seems so unreal.

He was dressed up, he must have gone to his room took a shower, changed and came back.

"You're dressed, waiting to say goodbye?" I asked looking at him.

He smiled lazily. "I don't know what you mean. I'm just watching you sleep."

"Why?" I asked my eyes still on him.

His face was in the shadows, but I could feel his expression sober even if I couldn't see it.

"Because I can't not look at you." He says.
