I knew the chances of me getting out of this were very slim.

The Alpha would not be happy that I had just punched him in front of his entire pack. He would send every warrior, fighter, father, mother, child after me, just so he could seek his vengeance to rip me apart.

He would do it too. He was psychotic and dense after all.

I hurdled over moss-covered rocks, jumping over fallen trees. Every step I took the wolves behind me took two.

I knew there was only a small chance of me getting out of here alive. I may be fast, but wolves were known for their speed and strength. I wasn't one to overestimate my abilities. Agility would only get me so far at a time like this.

My talents were at their finest when no one knew I was around. When I was a spy or a thief. Or at least when I was further away and had time to set some traps. Plus, I wasn't thinking clearly. The way they were running, they would be caught up in seconds.
