Sean’s voice beside me woke me up with a feeling of surprise.

“No... Ana... please!”

His whole body seemed to be shaking, sweat dripping down his face.

“Ana... Ana... Ana... don’t go.”

I shook his body to wake him up; he looked in pain and gripped the blanket tightly.

“Sean, wake up, I’m here, open your eyes.” I started panicking with Sean, who was getting increasingly nervous.

“Ana..., please, don’t hit me.”

I raised my voice, calling his name, and the shaking was getting louder in his body. Sean groaned; he was crying, and I panicked because his body felt tight under my hands.

“Sean, open your eyes!!” I said quite loudly, almost screaming, and finally, he opened his eyes. His breath hitched, his eyes greedily darting around him until he looked at me, and then he shifted towards me, hugging me.

“Ana, oh, Ana, you’re here,” he whispered in a slightly trembling voice with fear; he carried his head on my thigh under this thick blanket.
