Chapter 82

“People will leave but the memories will stay.”

Author POV

While clutching the graveyard that had just buried the person she loved most, Ariana stared at the tombstone bearing her mother’s name. He gently caressed the tombstone’s surface engraved with the name of the figure who had given her a love she had never counted. Her lips showed a smile as if she looked strong and determined to accept this fact, but deep inside her, that emptiness occupied one of the spaces in her heart, a space that her mother’s love had filled.

Ariana left the funeral after saying goodbye to her mother’s grave; her husband Sean, faithfully accompanying her, strengthened her and became her support. They immediately headed to her mother’s house, Ariana’s old house, where all the memories of some of the life she lived with her mother dwelled. When Ariana and Sean arrived at the house, the guests who came gave hugs and condolences to Ariana. After that, she rushed to her mother’s room.
