Chapter 112

Thane was on his way to Saturn. Now, he was halfway through the journey. Thane was in a forest with many tall trees and shrubs. There was no beautiful scenery because the place was so tense.

Halfway through the journey, Thane suddenly stopped his steps. He paused for a moment to concentrate on doing telepathy with Elinor. The woman didn't know her lover was on a long journey.

When they connected, Elinor's voice was agitated at the thought of Thane's whereabouts. "Thane? Is that you? Oh my, where are you right now? Why didn't you tell me you were leaving?"

Thane exhaled slowly, then replied, "I'm on my way on an errand, my dear. I hope you don't think too much about this. I can take care of myself here, and your job is to take care of myself for me."

Still agitated, Elinor again expressed her worries. "But, Thane. Where are you going now? Why did you not tell me?"

"Elinor, I am in my duty as Alpha. Can't you understand? I'm sorry to worry you, but I can't tell you where I am right now.
