[Elinor's POV]

The argument between Vonnie and I continued. I just wanted to shop in peace, but why didn't she just let me pass. Vonnie seemed to get even more emotional when she heard my last words. There seemed to be something wrong here. Maybe what I said was different from reality. I was just saying what I had seen in the past.

"Your words are very funny and show your ignorance, Elinor. You thought I was with Tom? Hah... you've been gullible since school. It's still the same today." Vonnie was gyrating her waist, and looked like she wanted to wear me out until she was satisfied.

Suddenly, from behind me came someone who made Vonnie smile and pulled her in front of me. It was Adam, my school friend too, but we weren't close. I saw them so close and looking intimate in front of me.
