On the veranda of the penthouse before Thane left. Elinor was seen wearing a scarf, standing there looking at the dark sky. Elinor's heart rumbled with worry about the battle her lover was about to engage in.

A moment later, Thane appeared beside Elinor. He put a warm jacket on Elinor and kissed her forehead gently. "Why are you here alone, dear?"

Elinor looked at Thane with worried eyes. "I just feel uneasy, Thane. I would hate to see you in danger. How did your fight with Liam go?"

Thane grasped Elinor's hand tightly. "Everything is going to be all right, dear. I'll protect you, and we'll get through this together."

Elinor tried to smile, though there was still fear in her eyes. "I just can't bear to see you hurt or at risk like this."

Thane pulled Elinor into his arms. "I'm grateful to have you here. You give me the strength and motivation to fight through anything. Together, we will overcome all obstacles."
