Apology

"It's is worth it." He replied, his voice cold and brutal as he threw shades at me from behind.

I hid behind Alpha Galan, clutching onto his shirt as I placed my head on his back, listening patiently to his conversation with Marcus.

"Marcus, I should be the one offended. You almost hurt her. What if I don't come to rescue her? You would have swallowed her head." Alpha Galan's calm and gentle voice became cold.

Marcus didn't know what to say as guilt washed over his face. His gaze met mine and I instantly adjusted my gaze from his.

"I didn't know how I went berserk, it wasn't my intention to hurt her."

"I understand, but you should settle things with her before leaving for the investigation tomorrow."

Marcus' eyes widened. "Tomorrow?"

"Yes, Marcus. We'll talk about it later in my study room for now you need to apologize to Theia." Alpha Galan's voice dropped.

Silence followed his words as Marcus sighed.

"Theia come forward." Came Alpha Galan's words as he instructed me to come out.
