"You should eat your eggs, they are hot." He warns.

"Ok." I reply, taking a sip of milk from the glass in front of me.

"Did you like what we did yesterday?" He asks me.

I finish my food before answering.

"Yes." I say smiling.

"Why are you so happy?" He questions curiously.

I giggle.

"I have no idea." I confess.

"If you don't want to tell me, I won't pry." He assures me.

"No it's ok." I reassure him.

"Last night was really special to me." I explain.

"Me too." He agrees.

"I don't remember feeling this way ever before." I add.

Ezra reaches across the countertop and grabs hold of one of my hands.

"I hope it'll never end, Alessia." He says in an almost sorrowful tone.

I smile softly at him.

"Don't worry, it probably won't." I assure him.

"I hope not." He admits.

"So, tell me what happened last night." I request.

He smirks at me mischievously.

"Well, I kissed you goodnight." He says.

"And?" I prompt.

He leans forward so our foreheads are touching and his eyes lock with mine.
