To forget everything

My eyes fluttered open and I blinked blearily, adjusting to the darkness. I stretched my limbs out, yawning loudly before rolling over and burying my face in Dan's chest. He immediately tightened his grip on me and buried his head in my hair, pressing gentle kisses along my neck.

A smile spread across my face as a deep contented sigh escaped my lips. For a few minutes, we simply lay in silence. Then, my eyes snapped open once more.

How long had I fallen asleep for? Ezra gently pushed himself upwards, letting me lie underneath him, so that my head rested upon his chest. Slowly, I lifted my head up to look at him. His dark eyes met mine, gazing down at me lovingly.
