Chapter Four

 Themedeus

Until now, Crystal has yet to be seen in the entire kingdom.  Maybe she really runaway.  Tsk!  I knew that this would happen.  She's not capable of being the Alpha and now she disappointed the King who is still angry.

"Do everything to find her! If you don't return her and present her to me, all of you will be punished!"  The King roared.

We are now inside the palace and the surroundings are very quiet.  No one wants to vent the King's wrath.  You're toasted, Crystal.

"Themedeus, Chris ..." he called us loudly.

"Yes, King Damian?"  we immediately asked.

"Come along in the search for Crystal, lead the packs and you must bring her back with you because if you don't do that I will banish you to the depths of the kingdom!"  he exclaimed.

I smiled because of that.  It's my time to shine.  By the time I find Crystal I might have a big chance to be Alpha.

"What are you waiting for?! Get lost!"

Frightened by his remarks, we followed.

"O-Okay ... come on," Chris stammered and tap me then we turned to walk outside.

"Wait a minute..." Blake chased as we stopped.  We turned at him and he's looking at the King.  "Please give me the permission to join them, I wanted to look for Crystal, your majesty," he stated and we were surprised.

We turned to the King who was silent and thoughtful.  He can't do that.  Blake is one of the Hunt Prince and if he joins us he can ruin all of my plan.

"Of course, there is nothing wrong with that I think? Besides, you're the one will be mate with my daughter. I'll let you join them, Blake."

My eyes widened at what I heard.  I can't believe this.  I find it especially difficult now to usurp the throne from them.

"Thank you, your majesty," Blake politely thanked and turned to face us.

He happily headed out of the room as I was left speechless.  He must die.  I'll make sure they can't bring Crystal back to life.  After that, I'm the only one left to be the next Alpha.

                                  Crystal

"Are you tired? You wanna go somewhere?"  I was taken by his husky voice.

I don't know but when I saw him earlier in that place there was some force in me that said he is the chosen one.  Then, my skin glows when his eyes met mine so I tried my luck to tamed him and I succeeded.

I was still sitting beside him while his friend was in front of us.  I know he is a human but I need him to explore more.  By the look of his face, he does have the power to do that.

I turned my face on the window to see the moon but it wasn't blue anymore.  Maybe, the ceremony is really over and they are definitely looking for me now.

As much as possible, I won't let them track me down and the man with me can't know what I really am.  I'll just stay with him until I can think of a solution.

His hot breath and I feel my stupidity because he is close to me.  My hair stood on end, this is my first time.  I have never felt this way with men, maybe because in our packs we are treating each other equally.

We were both shocked when the car stopped hardly.  I looked there at the man whose name was Howard and until now his face was frowning.

I turned to Zion when it came out and opened my door.  "Let's go inside..."

I just quietly followed him.  I was surprised when his friend didn't leave the car so I stopped.

"What's the problem?"  I heard Zion asked, I turned to him and pointed Howard inside the car.

"How about him?"

He came closer then grab my hand.  "Don't mind him, he can do whatever he wants. Come on, we need to rest," he explained.

I stopped howling and just sent him.  We entered a large building and were greeted by a beautiful room.

This is not my first time in human world but this is my first time to see this kind of place.  It’s been a long time since I last went to people’s place and it’s only in the book that I know the changes in them.  Very spacious and very beautiful, like in the palace they had decorations as beautiful as ours and their lamps were as big as in the palace.

"Good evening, Mr. Enriquez ..." I caught the attention of a woman who greeted Zion.

She's wearing something elegant and has something on her head.  When her eye landed on me she quickly lost her smile.  Did I do something wrong?

"I'm staying here for the meantime and she's with me. Serve her like how you serve me, understand?"  I heard Zion say.

The girl smiled again.  "Sure, Mr. Enriquez. Welcome to Zen Buildings, Ma'am."

I was shocked when she smiled at me and obviously strained.  Does she have a problem with me?

My attention went to Zion when he walked again and because he was holding my hand, I was carried along, of course I could not use my force and strength when I was with him.  I'll balance my strength like with the humans so he doesn't get suspicious.

We boarded a box room and he pressed a button on the side of it then voluntarily closed what we entered.  I didn't pretend to be surprised by what I saw and pretended that everything was normal.  I almost fell down when the room suddenly started, I looked at Zion and he was staring at me with concern.

"Are you scared? Do you have a phobia riding an elevator?"  he asked in succession.

I couldn't understand what he wanted to say but I just shook my head.

He smile and pull me closer next to him.  "Don't worry, I'm here beside you," he exclaimed.

I don't know why but that makes me happy inside.  He is making me smile by his words.
