Despite the agreement that Liam and Lucy had about Lucy not calling Liam, she kept calling him anyway. She would call him day and night, and even faked crying if Liam refused her demand. Liam couldn't focus on anything else in his life because he would always be doing this or that for Lucy to satisfy her. His job and his relationship with Asher started to suffer as he would always have to spend time with Lucy.

In order to cover up his visits to Lucy's house, Liam started to make different excuses. One of his lies was that he now found a new church that he attends. He would lie about going to church every night Lucy demanded he come to her place.
