With the two bags of cash in hand, i was on my way to meet Edwin. I snorted at the thought, but continued walking done the sidewalk, nonetheless.

It wasn't like i would be able to back off now, especially not with my solo mission. I had two million and a shortage of one million. I was hoping this will hold him off for a couple of more days so that we could come up with the remaining balance.

I couldn't risk coming with Leila, especially considering how scared she was. So i kind of drugged her with sleeping pills in her glass of water. I needed to go on this mission alone and i couldn't afford to be distracted. And the fact that we were one million short was disturbing enough. I hope she will understand things from my side of the story when she wakes up.
