The next day, Gemma's eyes opened, and her room was bright and shining. The ray of the sun interrupted her sleep, and she huffed, rolling and stretching, exhausted from being awake.

She glanced at the time, and it was past nine in the morning. She smiled and got out of bed.

"Gemma!" her mouth yelled. Gemma rolled her eyes, entering the bathroom. She picked up her toothbrush and toothpaste, ready to brush her teeth. She hummed along to the rhythm of playing along in her head.

"Gemma!" Her mother called again. She sighed and yelled back.

"I am coming!" She said the house went silent for a minute, and she continued humming.

As soon as she was done, she opened her door, walking downstairs to know why her mother had screamed her name.

"Mom?" She looked around, and Gemma found breakfast set on the table for her.

"Oh, Gemma... I am going out," Her mother stepped out of her room in a blue floral dress. She looked so beautiful and angel-like. Her hair rested on her shoulders.
