THE SOLUTION

I was thrown into the room and locked up ,I

sat down, I wept till l slept off, I only woke up to the sound of someone's feet , I opened my eyes and quickly sit up, I looked up and I saw Kunle standing in front of me glaring daggers at me, I look down and started moweeping and I heard him call someone.

Mariam! He yells and I felt he wanted to punish me, my head began to think serles of things.

I imagined being whipped, I imagined being

tortured with an iron and I was weeping

profusely already and Kunle's volce brought me back from my imagination.

"Why are you shedding crocodle tears?

"Serve her "and that was when I noticed the food was brought for me, I just remembered I haven't eaten since morning and the aroma of that food got me hungry but something got me scared again, maybe the food has been poisoned and I quickly said.

"l am fine, l am not hungry again" I sald.

"Why? I know you haven't eaten since morning and that is why I told Mariam to bring some food for you " he
