Three cups of tea and countless pages of parchment later, my head was swimming with information.

It had been hours.

I'd watched the sun start to set in the window across from where I sat.

"How are we doing?" Xavier asked, walking into the room.

"Good, I think," I said, peeling my eyes from the pages of the book. "I'm still on the same book I started with, though."
