“She must have gone to her room,” Davis replied with a shrug

“But I thought we were to sleep in your room tonight?” I had to ask but instead, Helen said,

“Daddy, I'm sleepy” She hugged Davis tighter, circling her arms around Davis's neck. He kissed her neck before saying,

“Go to sleep, honey,”

He moved out of the room to his. Before placing Helen on the bed. That was when I saw the time, it was 5 am already. What the hell!
