Grace's POV

“Position your hand like this, Mummy” Helen said, a little bit pissed that I wasn't getting it right. It isn't my fault, what's easy for her and her father wasn't so easy for me.

She has been teaching me how to use knives. I think she is just natural, taking after her father because how can a small child know how to do this so well when I can't. It seems unfair.

“But I'm doing just that,” I replied.

“You're not. If you are, there is no way you'll miss the target”

“But I am” I whined, and she frowned before turning to Vincent who was sitting not too far from where we were.

“Uncle Vincent, come and show mummy how to do it. She doesn't know how”.

“Honey, you're doing it well. Your mom is not just good at those things. Rather she is good at treating those who get cut by it” he replied without taking the book he was reading from his face.

Helen sighed while I frowned at him. He peeped and saw the frown on my face, he smirked, taking his eyes back to his book.
