“Damn Davis, you had a daughter?” Harry asked in shock, “Are you okay?”

“Yes, he didn't succeed, he was able to escape from New York. One of my men traced him here, but what can I say? My coming here was a waste”

“I can help you with resources. His phone is with the police, every information they get, Inspector Williams will send it down to us”

“How long will that take?” I asked as I looked at the man, who shrugged.

“The hotel wants the case closed and buried for the sake of their business. It will ruin their business, so we do not know whether it will be dropped yet or not” he explained.

“I don't see why it would be so easy to drop a murder case” I eyed the officer who explained further,

“One, the public thinks he got drunk and drowned. Two, there is no one sponsoring the case, since he doesn't seem to have any family or relatives here in the UK. Three, he didn't have a good name, so it's hard to support someone like him”
