Don't Go Again

“Do you live here?” Bella asked, eyeing the apartment in the luxurious area.

Brandon nodded. “Yes, during my college years. I lived here,” he said.

“You can sleep in the guest room. There are three vacant rooms. You can use any room you feel comfortable in,” Brandon said, with his characteristic sweet smile.

Bella smiled back. “Thank you, Brandon. You're so kind. I wouldn't know what to do if I didn't meet you,” Bella said, her gaze looking sad.

Brandon couldn't bear it. He gently stroked Bella's head.

“You're like my guardian angel,” Bella continued.

"Hey, don't say that. I'm your friend. I should help you if you're in trouble," Brandon replied.

"Consider this your own apartment. There are no rules. It's yours too," he said.
