Chapter 29: You Are My Possession

I spent overnight in the office finishing the reports. I didn't even manage to eat. Sigh. The feeling that I was working alone in the office was depressing. 

I kept on checking my phone. Hoping that Alex would text or call me. Unfortunately, I was hoping for nothing.

Funny. I still wished for an impossible thing. Gone were the days that Alex cared for me. He didn't talk to me the whole day. He didn't invite me to eat lunch and didn't even look at me when he left the office. I didn't know what's the matter with him.

Was it really that easy for him to put everything aside? My heart was shattered into a million pieces, thinking that Alex
