Chapter 52: Family Issues

I suddenly sat down on the bed. "Mr. Tricked? I think you misheard what Jenna called you."

"And how come I misheard it?" He asked.

"Jenna told me about it. She called you Mr. Ric, not Mr. Tricked. You know, Mr. Ric, short for Mr. Ricafort." I tried to justify, hoping that Alex would believe it.

"Oh, Mr. Ric, short for Mr. Ricafort." I heard Alex chuckling on the line. I could imagine his sarcastic face by its sound. Then, he added, "Don't try to deceive me again, sweetie. I asked her to repeat it. And I heard it clearly. Mr. Tricked, huh?”

I sighed. I knew I couldn't deny it any
