66- "Used to be..."

"Thanks, Noah! See you tomorrow!"

I smiled and waved at my classmates.

We just had a meeting for the upcoming presentation on one of our minor subjects. We were in our second year in college, and yeah, life was a bit hard and busy, but we needed to survive and extend extra effort to pass.

I waved goodbye to them after our mini-meeting outside our building, and everything in the presentation was agreed upon. They remained there chitchatting with their friends, going to the canteen, and others minded their businesses.

Walking at the campus as I was heading to the gate, suddenly, a girl sitting on one of the benches around got my attention.

I stopped walking for a while to stare at her, and I didn't know I was smiling while doing so. She was beautiful like the rest, but she had this effect on me that I couldn't understand why yet I already felt fond of her though it was even the first time I had a glance at her.
