Third Person P.O.VPassing the main road Aiden walks to the store by the end of the street, she stops in her tracks when she notices Riley seated outside by the balcony where the chairs and tables are arranged. Looking around finding the store lonely she walks towards and sits on the chair next5 to him, he looks up from her shoes and a smile makes its way on his lips when she sits.Looking at the three empty cans on table she exhales “Stop drinking,” she says dryly as she throws the empty cans to the bin by their table.“I did not have enough,” Riley replies staring at the can on the table, he looks at Aiden and says “I don’t get drunk,” he smiles, taking the can he gulps down the remaining alcohol in it, biting his lower lip he curls his lips inwards by pressing the can harder “You can leave,” he states opening another can, the tone of his voice enough to show that he is not drunk as he didn’t stammer. Letting out a breath Aiden inserts her hands into her jacket’s pocket shrugging h
Riley’s P.O.VLooking through the transparent glass wall of the cafe outside, I observe the surrounding, the clear water of lake reflects the trees and sky onto it, there are few people walking around, and there I spotted two familiar faces. The reporters think that they’re well-hidden but always be found by me, the same thing happened when I went out with Mira and the next day the article was about me having one night stand with her. My gaze averts to the person seated opposite to me leaving the corner seat empty, she looks around as she runs her hand through her short black hair, my vision follows her actions when she removes her black leather jacket revealing the plain white t shirt. Her dressing sense always seem off.“I can't believe that my girlfriend dresses like this,” I snarl letting out a loud dramatic sigh, leaning behind I rest my shoulder on the chair head, my gaze moves down and up again at her.She furrows her brows and looks at me for a while “Do you expect a mini ski
Third Person P.O.VRiley snakes his hand around Aiden's waist, he pushes her against his body, his eyes staring at her. From his hands she looks up at him, her head moves backwards immediately noticing the short distance between them, she furrows her brows squinting her eyes watching him, their chin almost brushing against each other. Riley stays still staring at her his heartbeat beginning to pound again, he bites his lower lip feeling nervous, pursing his lips to a flat line he flutters his eyelids as his cheeks heat up."Are you feeling unwell?," Aiden questions watching him closely, she steps back pushing him behind and looks around "That person is gone," she informs as she straightens her jacket."Are you ok?," She asks again facing Riley who looks around chewing onto his inner cheek, he faces her when she spoke."Yeah...," He replies lowly looking away, his heart still pacing."Your skin is red," She states as she sits on the bench near by.Riley takes deep breaths in and out he
~One week later~Aiden takes a spoon full of cereal and puts it in her mouth, chewing the crunchiness she gulps down the milk in the glass as well. From the bowl she looks straight to see Riley, who stays frozen staring at the cereals which are floating on the milk, his eyes are slightly open staring at an empty space, his hands held together in front of his crotch, absent minded."Riley," Aiden calls out as she slams the glass of milk on the table making a loud noise to get his attention but failed. She stares at him, her lips parted in disbelief, brushing her bangs behind her ears she inhales a deep breath in and lets it out to calm herself. Licking her lips she plasters a fake smile on her a face and leans forward."Riley, nothing......," She stops when he stands and walks away from the table silently.Aiden slams her hands on the table and gets up from her seat, she follows him as he kept short steps."Nothing is going to change just because you stay locked up in the room and ea
Aiden's P.O.VWho are they? From Riley I look at the direction of the door when the door slammed open, my body freezes on place not in astonishment, in curiosity. Taking a deep breath in I let it out as I keep a step forward watching each of them."Destroy everything in here," one of the five men orders and the others walk to their separate ways in the small room, my gaze follows his steps. That man goes close to the shelf where the framed certificates and awards are placed on it, keeping another step forward I glare at that person whose face is plastered with a slick smile, he eyes at Riley and at me smugly which gets onto my nerves."If you dare, pull that down," I challenge squinting my eyes following his every subtle action. The corner of his lips twitch up to an ugly smile, he chuckles softly sarcastically followed by the laughter of his mates, he raises his brows at me in amusement "Just a kid," he grunts under his breath yet I heard him.I place my palms on the large desk in fr
Riley's P.O.VSeated on the sofa I place my palms over my knees leaning over my arms, My head lowered while my eyeballs are at the top watching the super woman pulling out the first aid box. She was the one who caused the wound in the first place.I look away when she turns around and walks toward me, pursing my lips to a flat line I look straight at her, she places the first aid box on the table and bends opening it, her side features radiating in my view. My eyes follow her actions when she brushes the few strands of hair behind her ear, her fingers pulling out the plasters and bandages. To be honest, even though she acts all rough and looks stiff she is pretty in her own way. Was I blind on our first meeting or am I blind now as her magnificent power made me be appealed. This super woman is really something, the way she stood alone and fought with the men....Damn...she was freaking cool...The way she spoke to the officer ordering him apologize...Oh my God her gut is phenomenal...
Third Person P.O.VCurling her brows, Aiden runs her hand through her hair drowsily, her mouth opens wide yawning. She sits straight and brushes the few strands of hair on her face behind her ears, her brows furrow curiously when she feels the texture of material around her palm, bringing her hand to view she examines the bandage tied around her palm with a neat bow. The corners of her lips twitch upwards to a spontaneous smile, untying the bandage she stomps to the washroom. The crispy golden brown sandwiches pop out, taking it Riley sets the sandwiches on the plate, he then removes the grizzling omelette from the heated pan, the yolk wobbly on the top in a way that when the knife cuts through it the yellow liquid flows out. The other companion which joins the plate are the fried sausages. He sets the plates on the table along with a glass of grape juice. He takes his seat and fixes his gaze to the guest room door. The next minute his gaze averts and he looks away facing the opposit
Aiden's P.O.VThe damaged cafe is labelled with no entry strips, we stopped by the road scanning the surrounding trying to find anything which can give a useful piece of information. There is only a couple days left for the trial and we are still unprepared, turning to my left I look at Riley, he pinches the bridge of his nose his forehead wrinkled, his eyebrows curled and his eyes are squinted. He lets out a loud weary sigh and sits straight, his eyes tensed. He faces me and forces a smile.Unlocking the door, I push it open "Come, let's go," I step out and walk ahead."The owner of the shop," I speak when he meets my pace "Do you know him?," I ask as we stop by the shop where Mr. Mintz was stood, the damages are cleaned yet not fixed. "No, I haven't been here," he replies as he steps forward looking inside through the frame of shattered glass."I see," I wander in to the counter table, passing a glance at Riley who watches me curiously I spring off to the opposite side of the large
