I ignored it! Actually, I tried to ignore it with everything in me, but I know I can’t anymore. No matter what happened, I can’t ignore her hurt.

“Have this food, Jhanvi.” I finally said when I got to know she didn’t have breakfast and lunch at all.

“You need to go to work too.” I added, but she just sat on the bed with closed eyes.

“I am resigning my job.” She said and I controlled myself to utter anything.

Of course, to go with them, she doesn’t need a job here right. Well, what should I tell her? When, I know she is just waiting for the adoption panel to give us clearance.

But why is she sad when everything got settled with Ali? Is she feeling it because she has to stay away from him? Or because now she is stuck with me until divorce?
