*Jay Pov*

“Jay!” I heard a whisper and looked up to see Mom standing near the railing while I was about to go to reach Kalpana and talk to her again.

“What is it, Mom?” I asked her frowning.

“Is Sudhir coming?” she asked and I just felt the anger raise more.

“How can you still be so money minded, Mom? You are in death bed and you want to know about the properties?” I asked going back the stairs to reach her.

“You don’t understand. All this is yours.” She said frowning.

“What is the use of all this when I am going to be all alone if she never forgives me? I would have been with a whole family, but now I am verge of becoming alone.” I said staring at her.

“But… but… all this… what I did… I…” she coughed and suddenly lost her balance before falling on the floor but I held her shouting for the maid.

“Mom! Mom!” I called and immediately called the ambulance.
