"I ended up giving in and Adal finally got his way. It has been a full week since the day I stayed at his house with my son, Lucero, and my mother. We spent time with Adal's family, they met my beautiful baby, and there was a reconciliation between families, but not between Adal and me.

At first, I was scared because my mind couldn't stop thinking that they only approached me with the intention of taking my baby away from me. However, I was wrong because they cried and promised me that they wanted to meet their grandson and that the only way was for me to trust them.

I allowed all of that to happen, but I set my conditions: they must give me time, not pressure me to lend my son to them, and not wish to see him every day. I made it clear that I have work and that I stay with him at night, but on weekends, he's all mine.
