Chapter 69: A Night of Truths

When strength returned to my legs, I steadied myself on the floor, resting my forehead against the wall.

"This shouldn't feel so good," I grumbled.

With his hands on my waist, he pulled out of me and turned my body, making me face him. I was still breathless.

"I'm going to break your stupid rule now," he said before pressing his lips to mine, kissing me passionately, sucking and teasing my tongue.

Our kiss grew deeper, without urgency, just exploring and enjoying each other without haste. When his lips parted from mine, he caressed my face with his thumb.

"Deal with it and stop running away," he said.

"Give me a minute before we start this conversation," I said.
