13- Hades

Hades could swear he raised her right, at least, in the mortal way, she was right enough.

So she did not like gowns very much, had zero respect for the gods, spoke to creatures the gods had sent into exile, knew some secrets that no mortal should possess.

Hades knew he was better than most.

From the stories he had heard from souls that came in and out of his presence, he knew that mortal parents were mostly horrible at their jobs, filled with regret about the things they did and did not do, and always wished they could go back.

Of course, Hades knew he could never let them return but it did not mean he did not like to hear their stories, for you see, that was one thing that kept him sane when Persephone was gone.

Stories.

Yes, he knew the story that circulated around his wife and himself but he could never care less about what they thought or said.
