I woke up to a text notification. I didn’t want to move and had every intention of staying snuggled against Evelyn. I was wrapped in a cocoon of Evelyn’s scent mixed with sex. We had only fallen asleep a couple of hours ago when it was still light. Now the glow of the city lights filtered into the room as the sky began to darken.
