Chapter 14 -

Danny POV

We finished up eating and he promptly took everything away and cleaned up. We had been laughing and playing alongside the Game Shows on the T.V. It was so relaxing, just enjoying each other’s company talking and joking. It was like we had done this every night together for the last 10 years. His smile was absolutely captivating, and every time I looked into his eyes my breath would catch. His sense of humor was wicked sharp, and he enjoyed teasing and arguing with me. I had to admit, I loved being teased and argued with.

He was well read too, he got nearly every question on Jeopardy right. He was humble but sarcastic when I accused him of being scholarly. Next up was Family Feud, my favorite. People are so strange with their answers.

The host began, “We asked 100 random people what their favorite ice-cream flavor was and they said…...?” I instantly shouted “Strawberry” at the same time he said “Vanilla.”
