He stopped in his tracks and just stared at the shadow, which was in a form he couldn't identify. Deciding on what to do, he moved to the left and almost immediately, the shadow moved also, blocking his path. He moved to the right, and the process iterated again.

He looked ahead and behind the Shadow at the light which kept sparkling like diamond, moving in circles, then there it was again, the voice *ple..ase wa..e up*. For the first time, he could hear it a bit clearly. Breathing in, he held it in that way for a while and then let it out.

He opened his eyes with determination, and started to run forward, the fastest he had ever gone. The shadow ran in also, as it tried to attack him, raising its shadowy hand and whacking him on the shoulder. Drake let out an enormous scream, as pain rushed through his whole body. He fell face flat on the ground, groaning in pain.

The Shadow jumped a few feet back, standing at its position before, In Front of the light. Drake lifted up his head to lo
