27. Zara's Disappointment

Zara slowly opened her eyes.

The shades were still down, but she was having trouble sleeping. She knew it was probably a few hours to dawn. The maids had probably left it down to let her enjoy her sleep. Zara flicked the lights on from her bed with a designated body and rested her palm on her temple as she laid back and focused on the pure white ceiling staring back at her. She could still smell Kelvin's scent on the bed next to her l, she felt a longing for him in her bed again.

She should have kissed Kelvin goodbye yesterday, but Oliver's face had stopped her.

She grabbed her pillow and screamed into it.

Of course, she had the right to kiss Kelvin as many times as she wanted to in front of Oliver! Zara thought as she held the pillow tight to herself. Her brows furrowed as she yawned.
