CHAPTER 68

Even though we're miles away from each other, Axis always calls me despite his busy schedule. There's a time that he'll call me late but I understand it. He was always saying sorry though he shouldn't have. Of course, I understand his part. 

There's also a time that I wanted to call him, but I always restrain myself in the end. I know how busy he is and I'm afraid that when I call him, maybe he was still in the meeting and I don't want to interrupt or disturb him just because of my desire in wanting to hear his voice.

That's why when he had our phone conversation last week, we decided that it's him who will call to avoid uncertainties.

[I got the deal, Yasha!] He happily opened up to me. Even though we're only seeing each other in the phone screen, I can tell that his smiles reached his eyes.

"I'm so happy for you!" I joyfully replied.

[It's all because of you. So, thank you Yasha.] My forehead furrowed at what he said.
