Chapter 49 Ambitious

Alejandro didn’t come home last night after he threw me away like a rag and made me a maid. I can't shed any tears at what happened. I provoked him badly, making him angry. I believed he won't marry me if he doesn't want me. The doorbell rang, and assuming it was Alejandro I'm excitedly rushing to the door to open.

"Alejandro bu-" I couldn't continue what I was about to say surprised to see mom and Aunt Lorrie. My excitement faltered saddened to see them.

"Mom? Aunt Lorrie?" I greeted them in surprise. Mom didn't even bother to call.

"Why surprise? Are you expecting someone to make you sad seeing us?" Aunt Lorrie asked while mom didn't say a word and didn't even bother to look at me.

"A-Ah! No auntie." I smiled in response as I open the door widely to let them in.

"So, how's living with Alejandro? Your home is quiet." Aunt Lorrie asked as they approached the sofa. Mommy just followed without any word.

"Fine auntie. So far we are adjusting as a couple." I lied before c
