Chapter Eleven

"I'll be back in Batavia in two days" l promised my father over the phone, l was about to launch my clothing brand in Batavia, l let out a deep breath not knowing how to feel, it's been five years already and the memory of the bad experience l had in the past was still fresh in my head like it happened yesterday.

I was happy with the woman l have grown to become, fierce, elegant, and bold, and l could boldly stand up for myself, l looked beside me as I smiled at my son who was calmly sleeping beside me, he has brought so much joy to my life and l had him when l needed comfort the most and l was a proud mother, though he looks exactly like his father, he was nothing like his father, l raised him to be kind and respectful to people and he was too smart for a four-year-old boy.
