"Jack always used to say that Lucila was too smart," I commented, letting out a soft chuckle as I remembered it more to myself than for them to hear.

Some of them gave me looks filled with sadness, and others simply looked away from my downcast demeanor, probably holding back their urge to burst into tears.

"At that stupid university, there are only rich kids, but it's bearable," he grumbled, frowning with annoyance at the Jackson University atmosphere, which was a daily routine.
