Before the devil could kick him again, Lin kicked the devil with his good leg and sent the devil falling on his butt, to the ground.

He jumped on the devil's body and circled his hand on the devil's throat.

Lin pressed hard on the devil's neck while the devil tried to make him stop.

“Kon is mine. I'm the only one who can have him.” He continued to press hard on the devil's neck with a mad expression on his face.

The devil tried to kick him but wasn't successful.

Kon looked up.

Though his mind was foggy, he was able to make out what was happening.

He slowly raised the gun, and without a second thought, he pulled the trigger.

The sound of the gunshot rang through the room as Lin fell, dead.

“I didn't kill him!” Kon threw the gun away when he realized what he did. He curled into himself as he shivered from fear. “I didn't kill him!”

“Kon?” The devil slowly rose from the floor and approached Kon who was still shivering as he whispered.
