XANDER POV “Fletcher, you and I will-” I start, looking up from the map, the words failing as I see his guilt-ridden face. “What?” The question lashing out like a whip, not in the mood to deal with more. Pacing at the edge of her bed, I can’t help but stare at her as if my continued watching will finally work its magic.
