Chapter 62

Anne bore the pain and went downstairs. She left through the back door and hailed a taxi.

Seeing this, Sarah immediately followed behind in the car.

Anne breathed a sigh of relief and closed the door. "Mom, are you all right?"

"I am. The children just fell asleep. What happened? I haven't been able to contact you."
