It felt like I took off my life problems when the dumb dress was detached from my body.
Yeah, detached.
The damn thing didn't come off quickly. It felt like a second skin and the sand in between made it even worse.
Well, Dylan decided it'd be great to get in the water, cold water if I might add and I didn't resist cause, duh, why not?
Anyways, we spent minutes in the water, splashing on each other with absolutely no idea where we would find fresh dry clothes after.
At the sad end, we went home in our wet sandy clothes.
My choice to wear something off shouldered and skimpy backfired. The cold air bit into my skin and at times, made me take breaks to shake it out. I had never been so cold and Dylan, the definition of a perfect gentleman, didn't offer to give me his jacket.
I took a warm bath the mom
I woke up far earlier than I expected or maybe I didn't sleep at all. I spent my night tossing and turning while watching Dylan sleep next to me but not in a creepy way.I swear, not in a creepy way.Anyways, the skies were getting brighter as seconds passed and it only made me realize I had to go to school. And face the embarrassment.I couldn't spend a minute without thinking about it. It just kept coming over and over again.First, it involved Cassandra and we all know how it's gonna be. She'll literally make my life hell even if it was my last alive. Not to talk of the stares and whispers. It'll take only social media to share a million messages about Diana Kent within a night. If the internet could give me a dollar for every conversation about me, then guess who's gonna be the next millionair
DYLAN KINGFor the first time ever, she came up to me personally to get the car keys and it was weird to see her with a book in her hands.Reading? She had good grades and looked like a total nerd but she didn't read as much as I always thought she would.I plopped down on the driver's seat with a sigh, turning to face her. I poked her shoulder softly after noticing she didn't acknowledge my presence "Hey"No reply."Hey"I pinched her cheek, enjoying how soft it felt beneath my fingers.Man, you gotta touch this. It feels like heaven."Look who has soft chubby cheeks, chubby chubby cheeks"For the love of pure satisfaction, I pinched it again and again and again and again and again_&nb
"Just so you know, you look even more stupid in that apron" I acknowledged while munching on m&ms.He stared down at the white apron, pulling out the edges and displaying the red uneven hearts plastered on it. "You know I made this, right?""Still stupid""I'm not taking it off, okay? Deal with it""Yeah, whatever."He huffed and turned around, resuming his duty as my personal chef and in the process, flexing his butt.Yeah, I know, it's weird to stare at things like that but trust me, I found it difficult to look away.I mean, it had such a muscular structure and it only seemed to look better in jeans.More defined, yeah, that's the word.He had a defined butt."Hey! You're staring at my butt!""What butt?" I denied, then
Dylan woke me up as early as five of clock. At most, I had three hours of sleep and had my eyes open once the sky got blue.I'd spent most of the night packing for the trip and watching TV since I had no chemistry test to worry about. At least, not till the next few days.I also browsed the internet about the country for a knowledge of the place before I got there. I saw pictures of some good parts and some of the local rural places like the villages and streets. The most I saw revolved around Lagos and a few about other states.loved their culture, tribes, dresses and most things I saw through the internet. I got attracted to the food the most and yes, they looked delicious even through the monitor. So I got drawn to it and found myself wanting to teleport and get my hands on their delicious delights.
We broke the kiss as Dylan pulled away, standing up and regaining his composure."Um, the door" He laughed and headed towards the door, sprinted actually and left me wondering what had happened. There wasn't much to think about besides the fact he kissed me and I reciprocated.Wait, is this normal?I mean, it felt great, amazing even, but I couldn't understand how I felt precisely. Yes, I was surprised but it wasn't just surprise, I felt different. The good kinda different."Mr King" The person repeated, giving the door a gentle knock. Dylan pulled open the door, revealing a woman I guessed to be the secretary. She was pretty slim, almost like she didn't eat a thing. She could pass as a swimsuit model or any model at all. It made me feel chubby by comparison. Her hair wa
Food was served a few minutes later. Our table, even though we were just two, had enough food for ten. Ayo ordered a couple of women to give us the best traditional dishes they had cause Dylan insisted he'd like to have a taste of their local foods.Throughout the whole process, I had my arms crosses and my eyes glued to the ground with no appetite to eat what had been served. After the food was served, one of the women instructed by Ayo helped to describe the foods and some of the ingredients used in case were allergic to them. She introduced herself to be Keyinday and spent a couple of minutes explaining what I obviously didn't pay any attention to.Dylan, on the other hand, paid quite a lot of attention and Keyinday just happened to have a little thingy thing for him.I noticed she had her eyes on him throughout and I wa
(A/N: I know y'all really really really really really hate Dylan now but, make sure you read this chapter to the very end to understand and if you don't, you'll get it in the chapters after this. Also, this chapter might be a little too short, only about 1400 words in total which is shorter than my usual chapters but I hope you enjoy it.)...Why in the world was he jealous? He had his time with Keyinday, periodically winking at her and giving her smiles that'll make any woman melt. Then he proceeded to make it all worse by getting her number.I was right there, watching them both have their time. Neither of them noticed my presence, he didn't care about how I felt. Then Toby came along, a man even better than he was. At least, he noticed his presence unlike his ebony sweetheart and went ahead to mention he was a big fan of his work.&nb
The sunlight blinded my vision as my eyelids flutter open. Rolling over to the edge of the bed, I rubbed my stolen eyes and extended my hand to the side table. My vision was blurry till i adusted the glasses on the bridge of my nose.I spent my night tossing and turning till I finally got sleep early this morning. No matter how much I tried, my mind kept moving back to what happened the night before. After he revealed the reason he did all of that was because I called it a stupid kiss, I turned and left. Not because I was mad or something, I just had so much to take in and couldn't comprehend it all at once.First, it started with Toby who hated Dylan, tried to get to him through me and the shocking revelation he was twenty eight.Yes, I was so stupid to have ignored the people around me and the looks they had on their face
