Realization dawned over me when I heard the sound of the camera shuttering, the hyped crowd. A loud curse left my lips. Someone might have leaked our location and stirred commotion. Recently I have been drawing more attention from my enemies than usual.

The Alpha King was considering me to appoint as the lord of the Alphas, a duty to check on Alphas over Alphas. Many weren't happy with the decision even though I had the least interest in that. But it would give me more power over the hunter organizations who were still behind the werewolves. I believed that one of them had picked up this opportunity.

I growled at Silvia, gnashing my teeth together as the paparazzi continued to click her photos,

" FUCKING COME DOWN, SILVIA!"

She came back to her senses and stepped away from the corner abruptly. I headed forward to grab her by myself and brought her down. But the drama didn't go missing as the paparazzi got the images that they wanted.
