Chapter 24

|| SETH's POV ||

As I stood before Sansa's grave, the weight of grief pressed down on me like a heavy stone. It had been months since she passed away, but the pain still felt fresh, raw, as though it had just happened yesterday.

"Seth." The voice cut through the silence, jolting me out of my reverie. I turned to see Caden, Sansa's father, standing a few feet away, his expression stern.

"Caden," I replied, my voice hoarse with emotion. "I didn't expect to see you here."

Caden's eyes bore into mine, and I could see the anger simmering beneath the surface. "I come here every day, Seth," he said, his voice tinged with bitterness. "To visit my daughter's grave. To remember her. And do you know who I never see here? You."

His words hit me like a slap in the face, and I felt a surge of guilt wash over me. He was right – I hadn't been here as often as I should have. I had let my grief consume me, allowing it to drive a wedge between me and those who cared about me.
