When Annabel got to Roland's office, she heaved a deep breath before placing a knock on his door.

"Come in." She heard him say and she went in.

For some reason, Roland wasn't so surprised to see her. He knew why she was here but he wasn't expecting what she would do next.

They both looked at each other, none said anything until Annabel decides to break the silence.

"Why did you do that?" She asked, an angry frown on her face.

"What do you mean?" Roland replied, feigning ignorance.

Annabel mentally rolled her eyes at him. "You know what I mean. Sir, you know what I'm talking about, so don't act like you don't understand."

"This is about Brian, isn't it?"

"Why would you do that? Brian did nothing wrong, he and I were the ones who went out yesterday, so why would you fire him?"

"Because he did something he shouldn't have, I saw the behavior he showed yesterday as an insult to me, so I have to fire him."
