Anything surrounded me

I stretched again, trying to wake myself up properly as I looked over at Ethan who was still asleep on his side facing me. It wasn't until I saw a pair of red eyes staring back at me that I realized that Ethan was awake. I quickly snapped up, my eyes widening in fear as they began scanning my surroundings, trying to find out who might've woken Ethan up.

"Calm down sweetheart, it's just me." Ethan whispered softly before letting out a laugh as he ran his fingertips down my cheeks.

"Sorry." I apologized instantly, resting my head down on his shoulder.

"It's okay, just try to relax a little." Ethan smiled kissing the top of my head lightly.

"I will." I smiled, looking back up at him.

I wrapped my arms around Ethan's torso tightly, resting my head against his chest. I closed my eyes for a few seconds, listening to the sound of Ethan's heart beating rapidly, and slowly drifted back to sleep.
