In the dining room, while enjoying breakfast together, Deasy reconfirmed the decision Lucas had already made. She asked again, simply because she was worried that her boyfriend might later regret giving up his job and all the facilities that had been closely attached to him for so long.

Deasy was aware that Lucas's current position was not easy at all. He was faced with two important choices that would both impact his future.

If he chose his family, Lucas would have to accept losing Deasy and their future child. But if he chose Deasy, he would undoubtedly lose his family and all the privileges that came with it.
