Chapter 136. Complications.

Danielle's POV

I’ve been with Bryan’s mother for weeks and he hasn’t come back home since he left that day. Our conversations have been on the phone all day long. I sat on the couch with my legs crossed and my phone to my ear.

“When are you coming back? You told me you’d be back in a few days, what’s stopping you now?” I asked him over the phone.

He sounded apologetic but he told me he didn’t mean to. He said he had some things to solve and some deals he had to work on. “I’ll be back tomorrow, I promise. How are the kids?” He asked.

I looked around, but they weren’t anywhere near. “I’ll call you went they are closer.”

“I love you.”

I smiled and hung up the phone. Living without him was making me miss him too much. I found Mom in the garden picking up some flowers. I joined her and picked up some lilies at the far end of the garden. I have never stepped in the garden, all I did was watch the kids play in it from a traceable distance.
