Chapter 34

Danielle's POV

I wrapped the colorful blanket tighter. Weak and tired, my body refused to sleep. People were moving along the road as I peeked out the window.

It was the depth of the night and people were still walking around, most of whom were couples. I could envision how I would talk in my interview. I was more than prepared.

I was reading and learning about interviews all night till the cold set in. Unable to sleep, I studied the breath of my babies.

It would be easier to think of something important that wasn't my interview. Perhaps that would make me sleep.

My babies. That was it. I needed to keep calm but I was overwhelmed. I was eager for the next day but I needed some sleep. Thinking about the women my children would become calmed my head.

I pulled the blanket closer to my chest and stared at my children. Beautiful creatures from my womb. I would do anything to give them the best in life.

The first stage in progressing is passing the first stage. I closed my eyes. Tom
