Jessamine pursed her lips and smiled faintly. Both children were almost five years old, and she deserved to enjoy the feeling of being carefree for a while.

"Can Lucas and Layla stay with you for these few days?" she asked.

Thaddeus pondered for a few seconds, quickly reviewing his work schedule for the next few days in his mind. Some of his upcoming trips and social engagements had been postponed by Jordan.

"As long as the two rascals are willing, I have no problem here," he replied.

"Okay, it's settled then."

Thaddeus' phone rang, and he glanced at the caller ID before stepping out onto the balcony to answer.

"Mr. Holt, several of the family members of that model who was injured a few days ago have approached Noah. He's being pressured by them now."

Thaddeus held a cigarette between his fingertips and replied calmly, "These people just want money. Contact that model and see what she's demanding. Fulfill her requests."

Jordan acknowledged the request and hung up the phone.
