Thaddeus hung up the phone and glanced at the person in his arms. Eventually, he removed the arms wrapped around his waist.

"I'll make it up to you."

With that, he got out of the bed and quickly got dressed.

Thaddeus' response immediately snapped Jessamine back to reality. What was she hoping for? She was so naive to actually think that he would give up Amy for her.
